To be honest, I always like to try out new things on my nails! I visited a Nailsalon once in my life and since then I decided to do my own nails, Because It will get way too expensive if I have to go there almost every week, Since I'm a cashier and my nails are ruined after 2 days or so ;-)
Om eerlijk te zijn vind ik het altijd leuk om nieuwe dingen op mijn nagels uit te proberen! Ik ben wel eens naar een nagelsalon geweest, maar besloot sindsdien om mijn eigen nagels maar te gaan doen, Omdat het veel te duur is als je er bijna elke week naartoe moet, aangezien ik een cassiére ben en mij nagels na ongeveer 2 dagen alweer verpest zijn ;-)

Ik kreeg deze items een tijdje geleden van bornpretty.com en kon niet wachten om ze uit te proberen!

These are the items I received. Nail stickers, Metal nail decorations and different colors of tape! 

Dit zijn de items die ik binnenkreeg. Nagelstickers, Metalen nagel decoratie en verschillende kleuren tape!

Experimenting again!

Yesterday I found this great site called The Beauty Department with very nice tutorials and DIY's,

So I went through a couple of pages and found this:

Can't believe I never thought about using tape!
I tried something out today... with tape oufcourse and it turned out pretty nice,
so I wanted to share it with you and maybe you can try it out, too!

This is how it turned out. It's the first time I've done this kind of nailart, so It doesn't look prefect,
But the more I'll practice, the better it will look! You can also add more stripes if you want to.
So now'll finally show you how to create this!

The items you'll need:

Tape, 3 nailpolish colors (The gold color is missing on this picture), nailpolish remover, cotton buds,
a basecoat/topcoat and a nail clipper.

1. Put the golden color on the tape and let it dry.
2. Use a basecoat, let it dry and start applying the red colors.
3. Let that one dry, too and put tape around your fingers,
so you don't have to remove alot of nailpolish when you're done.

(I just put tape on one side, because you won't touch the other side).

4. Now put a piece of tape on your nail and apply the purple color.
5. Don't forget to take the tape off as soon as you're done painting that nail!
6. Ofcouse you should let the purple color dry and after that you can cut the tape with the golden color on it.
7. Stick the pieces on the middle of your nails and use a topcoat.
8. Remove the nailpolish around your fingers and you're done!

And if everything went well, it will look similar to this:

Gradient Nails Tutorial!

Hello everyone, This is the first time I'm doing a picture tutorial, Because the quality of my pictures isn't that great,
But I really liked how this turned out when I tried it on my own nails, so why not try to explain it to you guys?!

This is what you will need: 2 different Nail Polish colors, a sponge, a topcoat, nailpolish remover, a piece of plastic and a cotton bud.

The first thing you're going to do it apply one or two coats of nail polish. I used the color 380 Forget-Me-Not and Ill be using 280 London's Weather Forecast later. When your nails are finally dry, drip some of the Nail Polishes onto the piece of plastic. 

Dip the sponge into the other color you want to use and start padding it onto the top of your nails first,
because that way you will get a nicer gradient effect.

When you're done with that, it will probably look similar to this.

Now dip your sponge into the color you've used first and apply a little bit of that,
because this way it will look more even.

The only thing you have to do now is apply a shiny topcoat, 

remove the nail polish on the sides of your finger with a cotton bud and you're done!

This is the final result:

I love the way it turned out and the best thing is that It doesn't take that long, which is a big plus.

Flakies, glitters, nailpolish!

Oops, I did it again. Bought more nailpolish! I've finally found flakies and glitters.

 

Silver flakies from Saffron. €1,99

 

Orange, green and blue glitter nailpolish from Lemax. €1,99

I already used both, bought 1 more and they look great on any color!
Unfortunately I forgot to take pics when I had these on my nails, so I will take them when I use them again, promised :-)

Nog 1 dagje en dan zijn de "12 days of christmas" alweer voorbij..

Maar gelukkig mag ik vandaag en morgen nog wat leuke dingetjes weggeven.

PRETTY NAILS.

I'm in love with some of the nail art designs I've seen on the internet! Unfortunately I'm not that great when it comes to nail art, so here's some inspiration for the people who want to try it out or just like pretty nail art pictures ;-)
